What is Shrinkto?
Shrinkto is a free, privacy-first web app that compresses JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF to an exact KB target entirely in the browser. Instead of guessing with a quality slider, you pick a size and a binary search on encoder quality, using WebAssembly codecs like MozJPEG, WebP and AVIF, lands within 5 percent of it. Nothing is uploaded, there is no signup and no limit. It also bundles a full in-browser PDF toolkit and a companion Chrome extension, ShrinkTo Pro. Today it has 100+ daily active users and ranks #1 on Google for its name.
